About Abode Money

Abode Money is building the financial home for your home. Our mission is simple: Make homeownership more affordable for everyday homeowners. We automate the hard parts of managing and saving on homeownership costs like property taxes, insurance, utilities, and more.

Everything in home finance today caters to the transaction, the home buyer or seller, while the homeowner is overlooked. With non-mortgage costs up over 50% in the past five years, homeowners are struggling more today than ever before.

We have incredible backers, including Core VC, Drive Capital, Sequoia and 81 Collection.

The Role

We’re looking for someone who is naturally curious about how products grow and why users behave the way they do.

You’ll work closely with the growth team to analyze performance, explore product and funnel data, and help us understand what’s actually driving outcomes. This is a hands-on role where you’ll contribute directly to decisions that shape the product and growth strategy.

If you enjoy digging into numbers, forming hypotheses, and figuring out what’s really going on beneath the surface, you’ll do well here.

Key Responsibilities

  • Funnel & Product Analysis: Use Mixpanel to explore user behavior across the funnel. Identify where users drop off, what drives conversion, and how product usage connects to growth.

  • Dashboarding & Visualization: Build and iterate on dashboards that make key metrics easy to understand and act on.

  • Exploration & Hypothesis Building: Dig into data to spot patterns, ask questions, and form hypotheses about what’s driving performance.

  • AI-Integrated Workflows: Use tools like Claude and MCP-powered workflows to accelerate analysis, generate reports, and experiment with lightweight forecasting.

  • Performance Insights: Surface trends, anomalies, and opportunities in growth and product data, and help translate them into action.

  • Sharing Learnings: Communicate findings clearly—whether that’s a quick insight, a pattern you noticed, or a deeper analysis.

Qualifications

  • Data-Driven by Default: You naturally look to data to understand how things work and make decisions.

  • Curiosity & First-Principles Thinking: You’re interested in the “why” behind metrics—user behavior, psychology, and incentives.

  • Self-Starter: You don’t wait for perfect instructions. You explore, ask questions, and follow threads on your own.

  • AI-Native Workflow: You’ve used tools like Claude to think through problems, analyze information, or automate parts of your workflow.

  • Technical Comfort: Comfortable working with data and learning new tools quickly; exposure to Mixpanel or similar analytics platforms is a plus.

  • Clear Communicator: You can explain what you’re seeing in a simple, direct way.

Why This Role

This is an opportunity to develop a deep understanding of how a startup operates through data.

You’ll work on defining and interpreting core KPIs, analyzing funnel and product metrics, and contributing to decisions that shape growth and product direction. Over time, you’ll build strong intuition for how metrics connect to user behavior and business outcomes.

You’ll have meaningful ownership over your work, operating closely with the team and contributing to decisions that directly impact the trajectory of the company.
